Melina & Steven Dot Com

We got back from Greece a little while ago, and everything’s gone wrong since, including both of our computers dying, but I’ve uploaded the pictures from the trip, albeit without any color correction or anything.  Click on the gallery link!

We just went on a little two-night trip to Savannah.  It was pretty awesome!  Saw a friend from high school that I hadn’t seen in 10 years by the name of John Mnieckowski.

I just rode a horse at a full run across a meadow in the mountains. It was very fun. I am hurting tremendously.

We got into Denver yesterday at noon for my cousin’s wedding. The weather is cool and crisp and comfortable and gorgeous, jackets optional. We’re on our way to the ranch where the wedding is happening, at an elevation of 8,000 feet. We very well may lose phone and internet, so we’ll have to be satisfied with water and horses instead. Lots of pictures already, hopefully we’ll get some up soon.

We got our Roomba 560 yesterday.  Melina’s friend got it for us for $250 after shipping, which was pretty excellent.  I sat watching it for an hour this morning instead of going to work earlier.  It seems to be working pretty well, the bin keeps on filling up with mostly cat hair.  Speaking of the cats, they’re not nearly as terrified of it as I hoped thought they’d be.  Anyway, it seems to do a surprisingly good job of getting underneath things and between chair legs.  We don’t have batteries for both of the little lighthouse things yet, but it’ll be interesting to see if it gets to the bedroom & bathroom.
